(KIND OF) BACK

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind these past several months! 

Within the past seven months the following happened:

-my hubby and I looked for a home, secured an offer on a house and signed to buy within 50 days (more or less)…

-took a beagle puppy into our family and named him Bagel…within the same week that hubby’s co-worker had told him about the puppy and sent pictures via MMS

-two friends with dogs and cats took in Bagel while we arranged to move from the rental to the new house, and let us stay almost every week to spend time with him and their own family

-I started to search for work…

-…and found one that interviewed me twice and hired me upon clearance of the background check, and training was conveniently placed during a time when hubby was going to be out of state

-my husband went on several business trips, a couple taking place while we were either in the middle of the escrow paperwork, my training for the new job, and moving into the new house

-we moved into the new house, found things that were broken so we hired people to fix them if we couldn’t do it ourselves

-work was assigned to me to start during the holidays, so we didn’t leave the area

-my work changed several times in January and only in the past few weeks did the schedule finally get to calm down

So now, I’m back on Tumblr and probably should try to catch up if I can, right? :) Hope you are all well!
